Tradition and Modernity

Our idea is to combine tradition and modernity into an indissoluble mix that involves also our location. It is, in fact, a mix of elements of the past and innovative features. In one of our rooms you can admire modern walls with antique chandeliers. We also painted on an old wall an old furnace realised in brick, overlooking the sea, called "pisciuotto", where were filmed many Montalbano movies.

In the varied offer of our seafood restaurant in Scicli, in the province of Ragusa, our strong point is, also, the bread produced by us using flours of our territory creating that concept of genuineness that distinguishes us. One of our main specialties lies in the Focaccia, prepared in according to grandmother's recipe by offering you the best of taste in total respect of the naturalness and freshness of the products.

Our strength is in the mixing a high-quality cuisine with a suggestive location. In fact, there is also an outdoor lounge overlooking the ancient Convent of St. Matthew, making background to the restaurant that stands right at the foot of the Carmine Mount.

We suggest crudités accompanied with white Sicilian wine Cantina Giasira, cuttlefish with crispy fennel, sweet-and-sour peppers and Nebrodi's black sausage with pistachio, one of the favorite dishes of chef Triscia

Among the first course, we include Linguini with clams seasoned with garlic, olive oil and chili pepper, tuna bottarga and "muddica atturriata", it prepared with oregano, grated bread, wild fennel, tomato and anchovies

Our delights

In the rich and varied culinary offer we select for you, you will find ideas for all the palates, even the most demanding ones. To begin with, we will welcome you with a tasting of bread and oil to welcome you. The oil we use is Catanese: "Sun, water and sea for mother earth, simple ingredients for obtaining organic extra virgin olive oil" Oleifici Leonardi, fruity flavour and full bodied and with a note of sweet almond note. You can enjoy our dishes predominantly prepared with the fresh catches of the day, which is carefully picked every morning at the fish market. Our menu varies on the basis of the available products we buy thinking of you.

Our Wine Cellar

Among the best wine labels we propose we have the Judeka wine cellar with its own bottle of Frabianco from Caltagirone, new version in white of black grapes; the Giasira winery with IGT Sicilian bottled in Rosolini, a white organic wine with less sulphites, called Bio. In addition to prestigious wine brands, we invite you to taste the Etna Birrificio Beers, fermented again in bottles and non-pasteurized, produced in artisan laboratories. These beers have the names of the Greek gods, such as Ulysses, with fruity character and ideal by matching with the fish plates.
